Ngl monster hunter wilds is one of the most frustrating UIs and command entry systems I've used. I mean, I GET that it's a long established series so people are familiar with the setup, but it is genuinely a mark of shit setup if there is no real tutorial on how to use the system if you have no prev mh experience :/
Radial menu heal commands are just gaslighting at this point. 3 - 5 attempts to get the input to actually register mid-battle.....caca ass layout 🙃

Yes, insta is horrible at the moment, but if you want to see posts from people you follow, then they have hidden a feature in the top left corner. Press on the Instagram, and there should be a drop-down meny with a follow option. Press that, and your should get a feed with predominantly (which, awful that that is standard) only the people you actually follow. Hate that they have hidden it, and that it is not standard. But there it is.

LOL I made a stupid but very fixable mistake. The reason the neck looks so fucking stiff is that all my torso bones are offset by one. Easy but I'm tired and hungry so I'm not going to do it, that might be a tomorrow morning thing.
I have moved the lower bandana to tastefully cover my seam.
Here's with the lower fluff.

to everyone who has sent me the xkit fix. I appreciate it. however. I had all those things toggled on xkit already, I came to tumblr with the full xkit fix in effect, I still cannot stand the new dash

one thing i love abt the game Littlewood is how unapologetically GAY bubsy is. he is only interested in the most gorgeous of men
#like i mean. i think the only instance of him potentially being attracted to a woman#is if the player character is one bc of course everyone in town has a Thing for the player it's how these games work lol#but the thing i rlly like abt littlewood!!! there's no stated gender of the player ANYWHERE!!#like there doesn't have to be pronouns or anything in the game with the way it's structured so you can be Anything You Want#most characters refer to you by your name and that's it and there's almost no gendered language#which i just personally rlly like. i like not having to Pick One and then whoever else who isn't that fronts has to suffer with it#and you can change your appearance to anything at any time you don't even need a special wizard transing potion like in stardew#and everyone is willing to romance you no matter what except for dudley. let me kiss the old man pls#young people are not the only people to play video games lol give the old people who love farming sims something#and the gilf lovers out there too#also!!! the game is SUPER SUPER physically accessible!!!!#you can play it entirely with wasd; e or space; and shift#and a lot of the actions have multiple keybinds#so you can move with either arrows or wasd. interact is either e or space or enter (including on the numpad) or escape#(interact has a duel function of closing and opening menus and the different buttons work differently with each thing)#(like space is confirm and escape is. escape. but e could be either depending on the menu you're in but it's still very simple)#and there's a blessed toggle run option so i don't have to strain my hand too much with holding down shift#it fucks up my pinky finger so bad im so glad i can just Not#also why i usually remap sprint to Q if I'm using a wasd setup#if it's an arrow keys setup then the homerow is actions like f being attack (Fight) and then c is run bc i can swap between those two easy#perfected this layout with hollow knight bc i play almost solely on keyboard and it's very adaptable to other games#i had A as heal/spellcast. S as super dash. D as dream nail. F for Fight. and C to dash#and certain other games can slot nicely into that homerow setup for me like moonlighter#and then ori minecraft and littlewood take my mouse + wasd setup which is more complicated because it includes the mouse as well#but Q E and R see a lot of use in those setups

#my notes are back at least but WHY IS THE CONTROL CENTRE SO BAD??????#i was trying to rearrange it in such a way that i could actually see shit but it’s SO hard to do#and then it kept deleting all my shit and moving it around#i was like you’d better fucking keep the torch/flashlight in the bottom left corner. that is a safety device at this point#i NEED to be able to turn that on quickly#they added so much unnecessary shit too that i just don’t use#i hate how small they made all the icons and that i can’t make them bigger without fucking up the whole layout#and if i put the torch right at the bottom of the screen (WHERE IT USED TO BE) i have a ton of empty space#which my phone then seems to try to shuffle things into???#i also really despise how they’ve put ‘connectivity’ into its own little sub-menu#it seems way too easy to accidentally turn off my wifi while trying to turn on bluetooth#and yes i can remove the connectivity menu and take out all the individual functionalities and have them as separate icons#but they started to move around???#i might leave the connectivity sub-menu as-is and just have a separate bluetooth icon as well honestly#i don’t toggle my wifi; data or flight mode on or off anywhere near as often as bluetooth#okayyy i have it set out in a way i’m somewhat satisfied with now#from top-left: connectivity sub-menu; now-playing sub-menu (which i rarely use but removing it seems to fuck with my layout badly)#orientation lock on top of bluetooth; then screen brightness then volume; then camera on top of wallet#along the bottom flashlight; low power mode; focus settings#i’m like. as satisfied with it as i’m going to be. i might remove wallet#personal

you are driving a thousand kilogram death machine. you need your eyes on the fucking road at all times because lives are at stake. literally, overcomplicated radio displays are known to distract drivers and reduce awareness, and then there’s this bullshit?
you need the absolute minimum information possible. speed, fuel, rpm, engine warnings. not fucking, calendar, weather and world clock.
sttg the longer i look at this image the worse it gets. that’s the NEWS app on the touchscreen there? you want people to look down and read the paper while driving? and literally not one of the widgets on the top screen needs to be there, read your calendar and the weather and the air quality index before you leave the house godsabove. even that map is overcomplicated, no you do not need 3D renders of every building in front of you that you can SEE with your EYES. fuck it you don’t even need a mega-complicated media display, prepare your bloody playlists and podcasts before you hit the road and you can switch between them like an iPod shuffle. and get rid of Chainsmokers - Riptide ffs.
#Plus touchscreens have small not very spatially distinct buttons#And if they depend on a menu they might even vary and you can't know which is where without looking#Meanwhile physical buttons that are the same always you can use with muscle memory#Which reduces the amount of focus needed by so much#And ideally the button or toggle tells you the state of it so you don't accidentally turn it off if you wanna turn it on
